HELLO
Hi , I am Ruan - a South African Wedding Photographer
Photography and especially Weddings & Portraits is an integral part of who I am. I get to experience and see some incredible moments in this beautiful country and it is amazing to have clients trust you with these important events in their lives. The excitement, challenge, people and their stories make up what I happily refer to as the best job in the world.
I’ve been fortunate to have some Weddings and Couple portraits featured in Elle Magazine, Harpers Bazaar and Cosmopolitan Magazine and have achieved select accolades and awards for outstanding wedding photography.
Photographing Weddings since 2008, I’ve been honoured to photograph an astounding 500+ weddings and elopements in my photography career.
My style is a combination of Modern Storytelling & Classic, Creative Portraiture.
I’m married to a talented creative genius, dad to a little rock-star and when I am not shooting you’ll find me and our Scotty either in the office finalising projects or in the garden chasing anything that moves.
