WHERE ARE YOU BASED?

I am based in the heart of the Garden Route, George, Western Cape, South Africa.

DO YOU TRAVEL FOR WEDDINGS?

Yes! I have photographed weddings in almost every South African province in the last 12 years. I have also completed a couple of destination weddings. I only shoot a limited amount of Destination Weddings per year so be sure to enquire well in advance of your wedding date.

HOW LONG IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE BOOK?

Sooner is always better.

On average, I receive bookings 6-12 months before the wedding date as the wedding industry most often works on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. That said, I’ve booked weddings two years and advance and even two days before the wedding date, which simply means that there are no fixed rules on how long in advance you should book your photographer. I shoot an average of 25 Weddings each year which means that important dates, specific holidays and long weekends should always be booked longer in advance as these dates fill up the fastest.

DO YOU HAVE AN ASSISTANT OR SECOND SHOOTER?

I work mostly on my own to ensure that I can focus all my attention on you and the moments during your wedding day. If however you are interested in a Second Shooter you can contact me and I will send you a quote.

SHOULD WE BOOK AN ENGAGEMENT SHOOT?

It’s not necessary but definitely advised! Couple portraits and lifestyle sessions gives me as photographer and you as client the opportunity to get to know each other before your wedding day and more importantly, it builds trust. When your big day arrives you will be more relaxed when we spend the majority of your wedding with you, which is on average 90% of your big day! You also get to see my method and style of working and will have images to use on invites, save the dates and show off to family and friends.

FAMILY PORTRAITS AND FORMALS?

Yes! I advise taking all the group shots of close family directly after the ceremony or during reception. These are important and goes quickly if you can supply me with list of names before the wedding day to ensure all the close family are photographed.

HOW LONG BEFORE I RECEIVE THE IMAGES?

6-8 Weeks for Weddings and 3 Weeks for Engagement Shoots and Portrait sessions. Albums take approximately 12 business days to complete from the day that the album proof is approved for print.

HOW DO WE CONFIRM AND PLACE A BOOKING?

First contact me to check availability of your date. If your date is available, I will send you the booking form, contract and final quote on items that you would like to add or remove from the package. Once approved, I will require a 50% booking fee, booking form and contract to secure your booking and hire me as photographer for your big day

CAN WE HAVE THE RAW FILES?

All images are delivered as final print & publishing ready Jpeg files for you to enjoy, share and reminisce about your wedding day. You are welcome to request additional retouching edits to your wedding images but unfortunately the RAW files are not available.
